Is there a module available that I could use to show a herachical list of my forums. I'm basical looking for something similar to what they have over at Sitepoint (http://www.sitepoint.com/forums) where a list of the forums are displayed in the sidebar. Are there any modules that do this, if not do you think it would hard to do something similar.

You can use basic HTML to create a module just like that. I use one similar as my navigation http://www.ravensrealm.net
