Quick question. Still on target for late July early August?

And regardless...

Would you suggest setting this up with Beta 2 on my live site (but not publicly, only for staff) with intent to upgrade to Beta 3 and go live then with multiple instances?

I ask this because a chunk of behind the scenes work could be done now - start creating categories, custom fields, filling in info (articles usage, no member interaction needed), teaching my staff how to use it. Etc.

I don't however want to do that if upgrading to Beta 3 (or beyond) will wipe out or muck up any info I enter. There will be heavy custom fields data and custom templating involved.

Thanks, keep up the good work. I know it's been slow in here, but I'm still around and waiting for the next round. Later!

Right now beta 3 is about 95% complete. I just have a few finishing touches to add for some of the new features, and then need to finish up and test the upgrade script. *Assuming that all goes well* with that, beta 3 should be released this week, and the first public version (RC1) should still be on schedule for the first week in August.
I don't see any reason not to go ahead and start setting everything up before hand though. The only thing I would not recommend changing at this point (or really until at least RC1) is the templates and/or phrases since a good number of those will be changing between beta 2 and beta 3.
