VBadvanced homepage was working great so I thought I would upgrade to cmps.

I followed the steps and during the install of cmps, the script asked me if I wanted to import the settings from homepage, which I clicked YES. I uploaded the new cmps_index.php and edited the path and changed the filename to index.php. I then ran the /forums/admincp/advindex_install.php to remove homepage.

All I get now is a blank page! If I try browsing to the /forums directory, I get the forums so its something to do with the index.php

I tried uninstalling cmps and re-installing it with no changes. :(

If you're positive that you did everything correctly then I'm not sure what would cause that. If you'd like to fill out a support ticket via the Member's Area here though I'll be glad to take a look.

I'm pretty sure I did everything correctly. I rechecked all the steps and verified the changes and its all done correctly.

I'll fill in a trouble ticket and see what happens from there.

Thanks Brian.

If your forum works fine then that means the templates for vBa didn't get installed. Reupload the installer and install the templates only.

However back up the current styles if they are customized, because I had the same problem, I installed the templates and it reverted all of my custom templates to default.
