Problem w/ installation.

Ok, i did all the edits, i got the forum path correct, and i ran the install script, but two things go wrong.

1: When it tries to update the image file paths, it gives me a 500 Internal server error. What is wrong?

And more importantly

2: After the installation and everything, the CMPS wont show up. As i said, i set everything perfectly (and have double, triple, quadruple, etc checked EVERYTHING), and deleted the index.html file so the index.php (renamed from cmps_index.php) file will be used, but all i get is a Forbidden error page. I can't for the life of me figure out why the heck it wont work!!!

What did you use to edit the code? If you used an older version of Dreamweaver that could be your problem. Try notepad or similar text editor. However the newest version of Dreamweaver (Macromedia Studio MX 2004) works just fine.

I edited the code in WordPad. That's how I edit ALL php code, and it works for everything but this, apparently...

I would double check your work.. Pretty easy actually. Took me a whole 5 minutes to redit the code after upgrade to 3.0.3
