Love the way vbAdvanced looks on other sites, and I am anxious to get it running on one of mine, but I am getting this error on the index page:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: print_portal_output() in /home/virtual/site12/fst/var/www/html/forum/index.php on line 27

I am also getting this:

Ive triple checked the instructions and reuploaded all the hacked vb files 3x and I am still getting the same error.

FYI

vbadvanced (cmps_index.php) was renamed to index.php and is installed in the root of the server.

Vb is installed in a subfolder called vbulletin.

Know this is a simple one, but I just can't figure it out.

And before you scream that this has been addressed before ( http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1897&highlight=Fatal+error%3A+Call+undefined+function%3A )

That post did not solve the problem.

Thanks,
/DJ

doh.

Well if it helps anyone else with this same error...

I had messed up the included index.php file that comes with the hacks. The line:

require_once('./global.php');

was messed up.

But now, I am getting an error similar to the screenshot in the above post, but now its line 888.

Take a look here if it helps. Legal Forum (http://forum.beasleyallen.com/)

Thanks,
/DJ

I am having the same problem.....

I have doublechecked all things that I needed to edit, and it still doesn't work. I've had vbadvanced in a folder called 'testforum' for a while with vbadvanced and the testforum in it. There it worked.

I've even tried to use the global.php and index.php from the working version on the non-working one..... No luck :(

What can I do? Global.php is obviously edited correctly

Please? :o

Allrighty..... so I reversed everything and re-uploaded all vbadvanced files. The weird thing is that flashFXP (ftp program) asked to overwrite the files on the server and showed a different filesize. So I let it overwrite all files....

And now it works!?! How is that possible? :D
