Hi,
I'd like to use this for an article section. Within an article I'd need to BBCode any images I guess - I know there's the ability to attach jpg's etc but didn't see the ability to place them within the article - or did I miss something?
Second - am I able to use articles on the Frontend of vBadvanced CMPS instead of having a front page news from the Forums?

You can use [img] tags and other normal BB code within entries. Currently there is not an [attach] tag or anything similar though.
I'm still working on a CMPS module that is compatible with RC1, but expect to have that posted by next week.

Thanks Brian,
Any plans for an [attach] tag? I guess it would be similar to the {image} tag that joomla uses - I think I can understand the complexity of adding such a feature.
Ok, I'll wait for the CMPS module to see how it goes ....... thanks again.

Adding something similar to the [attach] tag is on my to-do list to look into, but I can't make any promises at the moment as to when it might be added.

Yes, I want this too. I would like to attach an image inline with an article, like is pictured in the thumb on the front page. It should upload as an attachment and allow it to be placed as the author wishes.

Brian,
with the img attachments - I couldn't find any options for them to open in another window like vbulletin - would this default back to the vbulletin options or have I missed it?

http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/demo/?script=dyna
Go there, click 'Attachments', click the 'Edit' link for one of them, and then you will see the option as the 2nd to the last one.
