I have in my Cp group called:
*[vba_cmps]*
and so on
*[default_settings]*
etc...
after running http://yoursite.com/forum/admincp/vbacmps_install.php.
I have error :
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /home/xxxxxx/public_html/forum/admincp/vbacmps_install.php on line 1486
Using vB ver 3.6.8

Sounds like you've modified the vbacmps_install.php file. Download the files from here again, upload that file to your admincp directory without making any changes to it, and then try going to it in your browser again.

The only other thing it could really be then would be your FTP program not fully uploading the file, or corrupting it somehow.

Not if the phrases are still missing as indicated in the first post...
*[vba_cmps]*
*[default_settings]*
etc...
