I've read the info on the product and can think of many, many uses.
But I'm confused as to how the product works. Do you have a document showing how recipe sharing site is created or some other type of site is created?
Also do you have a list of links to people using this now? I would like to see how others have used the product.
Thanks!

We do have the three different demos incase you did not see those.
http://vbadvanced.com/dynamics/
http://vbadvanced.com/dynamics2/
http://vbadvanced.com/dynamics3/
Those are all default installations using the multiple instance license options. Most every feature can be enabled/disabled through the Admin CP, so changing the settings is all that's needed to configure things for different purposes.
I can't really offer any links to other sites as some customers might not like us sharing the URL, but a quick Google search seems to return a few results.

Yes, I've looked through those but I'm still confused.
Say I want to build one to track the winners of contests. Can I create fields for things like place, prize money, name? So that those fields are now indexed and searchable?
I could click on partipant x and see all of his placements?
And for a cookbook example, can you build a set format so that everyone enters the recipes in the same format?

Do you have a manual showing the steps to create these kind of things?

You can add custom fields that will be shown with each entry, so that should work for the things like place, prize money, and name. Custom fields are also searchable.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "placements"... There is an option to enable Memebers' Categories on the homepage though, which will show a list of all users who have submitted an entry, and takes you to a page showing all of that user's entries. Is that perhaps what you're referring to?
And for a cookbook example, can you build a set format so that everyone enters the recipes in the same format?
I would think that could be done with custom fields. That might depend on exactly how you want to format things though.

I'm sorry, but we do not have a users manual written at this time.

Thanks! It is starting to make more sense.
Still not sure I can do what I need. How about this?
On the comp example. Can I create entries for each competitor? And then select them in a drop down list when I want to do places at an event.
I'd like to be able to have an entry page for each competitor to show their picture, info, etc.
And then when entering contest results be able to select them from a list so that it is all linked together.
Is that possible? Or am I going outside the scope?

Sorry, but it sounds like you're going outside the scope.
