My site posts allot of articles emailed to us from different publishers of racing. I want to set up a area for each racing series. I.E. Woo, Lucas, Fast Track, Nascar, Bush, etc... Can the articles be set up so that vBadvanced will show the most recent ones posted like it does threads? I think this will cut down on the amount of Forums I need to post all the articles.

Also if this can be done is there a way that I can move the existing threads to the new article section?

I also would like to know if I can have images show up like I do know on my front page?

I'm not entirely sure what you're asking here since there would be a few ways to show recent articles... You can change the display order to pretty much whatever you would like (including date posted) to order entries when browsing a category. There's also the What's New module that will show new entries anywhere it's enabled in vBa Dynamics, and a What's New/Random module that has been posted for the CMPS.

I do have an import script that will allow you to import threads from selected forums into selected categories in vBa Dynamics. It was created for the beta versions though, so I still need to spend a little time updating it to work with RC1/2 (RC2 should be released shortly).

I'm not entirely sure which images you're referring to... It does include options to allow images in entries though. It also has about the same module system as the CMPS, so you can create custom modules with images as well.

I mainly want to use vbDynamics to store all my articles that are emailed to me. I want to for example the most recent 20 articles posted to show in the center of my vBadvanced. (Just like the threads do now)

For example if you look at my homepage the 1st recent news is actually a image. We create these for the tracks and post them as a thread. We can also stick them so they remain at the top mostly a week. Thread here (http://www.localracechat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29919)

You see right now I have a news forum for each track, and I have vBadvanced set to show the threads from them forums only.

What I am hoping vbDynamics can do for me is allow for me to get rid of all the news forums and post our news in vbDyn. BUT I need to have them also show up on vBadvanced in the center like it does now, including any images that are posted in the news articles. We make these banners and show them for a fee so it's important that they are shown on the front page as well.

Make more sense now?

The "What's New" module I created for the CMPS will allow you to show new entries in a similar fashion to the news module (including images), so I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work for you.

Just to make sure I understand this right: We can show the latest VBA Dynamics entries in VBA CMPS using the "What's new" module?

I don't see this "What's new" module in CMPS demo (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/demo/?script=dyna). Must we import it from Dynamics??

Well... I can't read the thread, but is this the module you are talking about?

It is really important for me to show the latest Dynamics entries in CMPS as I want to use it for my news instead of the regular forum...

Yes see my site to see it in action, the only thing not being pulled from vBDynamics is the video
