View Full Version : Does Dynamics Articles count towards Forum Threads?

Now that I will be using Dynamics as my news database does this mean my forum threads will not go up when new articles are posted?

No, Dynamics entries are not included with forum thread/post counts.

Brian is there a way to add this to the Forum stats (Dynamics Statistics) on the Forum homepage?

So when a user makes a post in dynamics it does not count towards their post counts either?

I'm sure it's possible with some plugins or maybe hacking the files, but I don't beleive anybody has done so yet.

That depends on what you have your 'Count Posts Towards Postcounts?' option set to.

I have 11,673 posts and when I post a new article I have 11,673 :confused:

I set all my post count to "YES", but no update in forum thread. Any fix for this or suggestion.

I'm sorry, I wasn't thinking... That option only applies to replies made within vBa Dynamics, not entries. I'll see if I can get a setting added for entries as well with the next release.

Thank you Brian that would be very appreciated. I have a few very active members that help with posting news and they were disappointed there counts were not being counted.. I told them to hold for a bit that maybe we could get it fixed..:D
