Are you trying to add custom fields there? If so, go to Admin CP => vBa Dynamics => Custom Fields and use the feature at the top of the page to add your new ones.

Yes, I figured that out. But I want to also edit the fields on the entry form. Like how can I remove attachments as an option, rename the name of the title field, etc.

Thanks

Please see our forum rules regarding bumping threads.

Attachments can be disabled via the Admin CP settings. Everything else can be modified by editing your 'ADV_DYNA_ADD_EDIT' template.

Thanks for the reply. It had been 22 hours since your reply. Sorry should have waited that extra 2 hours.

Actually, a "bump" is considered a new reply after an existing one. So it was about 12 hours before you bumped this thread after your first post (08:58 PM -> 09:21 AM), and 16 hours for your 2nd bump (04:54 PM -> 09:36 AM). And both times, you still had a reply in less than 24. ;)

This is pretty rough way to treat paying customers!

Was a reply to your post not a bump.

But whatever!

I'm certainly sorry that you think that. There seemed to be a misunderstanding about our policies and definition of "bumping" a thread, so I was trying to make sure that it was clear.

Yes, but the one after that made 16 hours later was a bump, and what I was referring to.

Ok here's what I see happened. You posted, then I posted a followup questions.

I waited 22 hours after your last response and bumped it. Now if that is against your 24 hour rule, sorry! I was just trying to get answers. My question was posted on 9/9 and I just got the answer I needed today.

But if you want to help the situation, you should first explain the policy better, stop giving infractions for this kind of thing, and just answer questions faster!

Brian what setting is this under? I looked and I was going to try and tell him how to turn off the attachments because I knew I had seen it before, but when I went to go find it, I could not locate it it at all.

Bumping a thread is replying to one that you have already posted in in order to "bump" it back towards the top. Posting messages like "Does anyone know how to do this?", which adds no additional information to the thread, is considered a bump. That should be pretty common terminology in the world wide web. The rule is to wait 24 hours after your last reply before bumping a thread. So in both cases, you had not waited anywhere close to the 24 hours.

Attachments would need to be disabled by editing your usergroup permissions and turning the 'Can Upload Attachments' setting off. Then there are also settings within the 'Add/Edit Entries Options' and 'Show Entry Options' settings that will allow you to control where attachments are displayed.
