Can I use VB 3.5 with CMPS v.3.0?

I know the system reqs say I can, but in the install packet it says that I need to install 3.6

v3.0 will only work with vBulletin 3.6+.

The one that has (vB 3.5) next to the version number will work with vB 3.5.
