moved htdocs, vbulletin works but cmps stopped

I made a duplicate of our live site to use for beta work, duplicate of the data and the database, verbatim one for one copy only on a seperate vhost, changed the paths in config.php and cmps_index.php, the forum works, but the portal doesn't load (and previous to a small bugfix would complain about not finding function print_portal_output )

any ideas?

did you add the correct forum pathway to the copy of the cmps_index?

ok, stranger, I resaved the settings (didn't change em, just saved em) in the admincp for the cmps footer and now it mostly loads the portal, but doesn't load a couple of the modules, wth?

Which modules exactly?

have you scrolled down to the options for "latest threads" and made sure it is pointing at a forum with threads in it?

This is just troubleshooting stuff that seems pretty common the more I help out here.

yeah, did that, same problem remains

changed the days since last reply from 10 to 90 days and it works, even though there are many replies since even 10 days

seemed to have been fixed, but I'm still concerned about the first issue, resolved true, but I didn't change anything to resolve it, I dislike things that just "fix" themselves

I find that sometimes, when in the heat of fixing errors, I don't even remember the things I have done.

But I am an old man so that may not be your case.

I'm just glad you are running smoothly for the moment.
