Hi all,
I've been trying to get my forum to intergrate with vB CMPS, but i cannot get it to display.. I have tried following Manor's intergration guide, but not even that worked. the end result is shown by clicking the first forum link at www.facebang.co.uk ... which only gives me the forum page, with no forum inside it?! can any one please help :(

It looks like you have two forum links in your navigation module there. The one on the top goes to the CMPS page called "forum" that you created.
The second one does link to your forum and it is integrated with the CMPS as far as I can tell.
The second link is the correct one because you still want to browse to your regular forum index.php after integration. It does not create a new CMPS page with the "forum" identifier (that's what the first one goes to)
So I think all you have to do is go into the adminCP>CMPS>edit page>forum page edit
Then simply add some modules in there, on the left and right, however you like. Hit save and see how it looks by going to your regular forum index.php
Looks like you have renamed it to "forum.php"

Thanks for that, I didn't even think to check the original link
As its the original link that works for the forum, how do i remove the link that creating the page created, without removing the intergrated forum page?

Go into the "forum" page you created, roll down to the bottom and find the "navigation" options.
You should be able to remove it from there.

Thanks for that Brian, works brilliant now!! I just tried to do the same with Sabret00ths GRPS mod, but it does the same? is this because it is a separate folder? (mod is in home/groups/index.php, but forum etc is just home/forum.php)

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure what you're asking...

Sorry, let me try again... I've installed Sabret00ths GRPS groups mod, and put a link to it in the sidebar, but when I click it, it loads full screen, not with the CMPS wrapped around it... Even though I tried intregrating it..

Can you link me to where you have the "Sabret00ths GRPS" mod installed? Also, did you use the filename or THIS_SCRIPT integration method for it?

Hi Brian,
Sorry for the delay, been too caught up in work!! The GRPS mods index page is http://www.facebang.co.uk/groups/index.php.
edit: Also, when I click the forum link, it opens the forum below the User CP module, and news module, even though these are not active on the FORUM module/page created, and:
when I click on a username to view profile, i get Fatal error: Call to undefined method: stdClass->parse() in /homepages/15/d146309981/htdocs/facebang/modules/news.php on line 360

The integration seems to be working fine on your /groups/index.php page. Were you able to work that one out, or is there something I'm just missing?
As for the forum link, are you sure that you didn't integrate a different page or anything like that? There shouldn't be any way the modules would appear if they are not active on the page you integrated them with. I'm also not seeing the fatal error on that page... Is it perhaps only showing for guests, or were you able to solve that one on your own?

thats odd, now i've tried the groups link its working.... Perhaps because the forums were inactive at teh time... sorry about that!!
as for the error, it only happens when i'm signed in as admin, in IE or opera, i've sent you username and password so you can see what happens... It even does it when I try to get into my usercp!!
Did you have any ideas about removing the usercp and news modules from the forum intergrated page?
Thanks again!!

Still not seeing the error message even when logged in... I took a quick look at your integration settings while I was there though and you've used your 'Homepage' CMPS page to integrate all of the files with instead of your 'Forum' CMPS page. If you follow through the integration steps again and choose your 'Forum' page instead, then it will use that page.
