Hello,

Sorry if I opened thread in wrong section. I have a question regarding to your two popular products, CMPS vs. Dynamic.

I am choose to run the CMPS for time being to get a feel of it. Then, later on in time, I change my mind and want to use the Dynamic. At that time, what is going to happen?

1/ Do I have to uninstall CMPS to install Dynamice?
2/ Or install Dynamic will override the CMPS?
3/ Do I need to redo/reconfigure everything for Dynamic once I already installed the CMPS?
4/ Will there be a free upgrade for Dynamic? How long? if not, will there be a renew fee? yearly?

1). No. vBa CMPS and vBa Dynamics are completely separate products and can both be run at the same time.

2). Nope, see #1. ;)

3). You would need to modify your settings and such since changes to vBa CMPS would not affect vBa Dynamics, and vice versa.

4). A license grants you access to the Members' Area here for 1 year, so you are allowed to download any new versions that are released within that time. After 1 year, it is $14.99 to renew your access for an additional year.

Thanks Brian. In other word, will Dynamic version cover all CMPS features?

No. They are different products for different purposes, so vBa Dynamics is not going to have the exact same features as vBa CMPS.

oh no... now I have to find out which version suites my need. So hard to tell thou, for a new vBer like me.

So, CMPS is more like a portal/frontpage to me.
I am still find the use of Dynamic here....

Since "what's the difference" questions seem to be becoming pretty popular, I posted a new thread in the vBa Dynamics pre-sales forum that hopefully will clear that up a bit.

Thanks Brian. That helps me to understand more about these two products. However, I am looking for a hack that can produce such similar to this page: http://www.ngoisao.net/News/Home/

Will one of your hacks do that?

It would definitely be possible to create a homepage like that with the CMPS, but would take a good bit of work and knowledge about HTML and a little PHP to customize things.
