Got a request from staff. Would be nice to have a staff editable (aka, not thru admincp) module for featured authors. You could select the author from the drop down menu in a similar fashion to selecting a featured article. If you do, that person then shows up on a sidebar list, with a link to their posts.
Can add in last entry, last post, avatar, rss feed, etc. I personally would just want - name clickable to member-listing-url, rss icon.
If you really wanna get fancy, orderable by #of posts, date added, random, or specific list (1-10, etc, like category order).
Good for areas where users are submitting most of content.
