Polls broke

I have a pretty default setup, with the polls on the mainpage set to RAND, although I had a Polls forum from a previous VBPortal setup. When we switched over to VBAdvanced, I moved poll threads from the Polls forum to various other forums. On the homepage, the polls were displaying random polls fine for a few days, but just then today I noticed that the polls breaking. I made a new poll thread in the old polls section and it showed up on the frontpage fine. So it seems as though the only polls that are showing up are the ones in the polls forum, even though the polls section of vbadvanced is set to RAND. I erased the polls forum, and now the frontpage shows no polls.

Any ideas?

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages => Default / Homepage
Double check that that the option is set to 'RAND' there as well.
