Its not really a mod, just using a VB Script of Microsoft agent. It is really cool though it does a ton of things.
Thanks,
Fiber
Nice site, i like the merlin guy too...

I've been meaning to ask you..... so what's your experience with the MASH app' been like? Have you run into any problem with visitors who don't have the agent client installed? For a seamless integration the visitors who don't have the client installed wouldn't be prompted for any kind of download, etc. just by visiting the page. Have you found a way of detecting whether the visitors has the client installed?
:D

I don't really do anything with Stocks, but this is a nicely done site, and a great idea :) Kudos

The script automatically checks if the visitor has the character, if they don't it downloads it.
Its been a pretty simple process after reading up on it just a bit.
I will be doing mine over within the next month sometime, the current one was a 2 minute job. :D
Only thing bad about it is that it does'nt work for mozilla etc. Which is fine for me, since 99.9% of my users use I.E.

WOW, Just WOW
OK, Nobdy else has, so I will
2 things
1) The Merlin Module, Will you be releasing the code.
2) the Scrolling text under the logo, is that part of the flash or is it a Javascript?
Will you be releasing the code?
I'd be willing to pay a little for them if you cant do it for free.
BTW, Merlin doesn't work in Firefox either, but you knew that :p

I will try to address the merlin thing soon, but it is only good for I.E. users.
Most of my people don't even know Mozilla and firefox exist. hehe
I will update my version soon so people can see him in more action.

Scrolling text is a xml.doc integrated into the flash header.
Sorry forgot about that.

Thank you, I look forward to seeing it, being a tech site I think my users would get a real kick out of it.
As for the only I.E. thing, thats kewl, most of my users use IE anyway :p
as for the scrolling text I kinda figured thats what it was/is and thanks for letting me know, I really like it. ;) Good job

For anyone wanting the Merlin guy hack, I seen that someone over at VB.org already did one. Try that out and if it is not like mine let me know and I will post mine here. I asked at VB.org and they said it was already done, so I did not post it. Search for "Merlin Hack" at vb.org to find, if thats not cutting just reply here.
I also updated mine with more actions and so on, if you would like to check out the new version.
Note: Mine is now set to only work for guests, it will not work for members due to conditionals. So, if you are a memeber just log out and reload the page.

I found the one on vBulletin.org
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=66492
And he just has you throw the code in the footer or in forumhome.
I like yours or your old one, because it was in the module box and waited to be called via the link.
I see you have moved it out into the open and starting on its own.
I would really like to get yours, but back in the box.
Would you be willing to post the new one, but in the box or instructions for both.
I'd be willing to give you a few bucks for it.
