Hi, before I start using vbadvanced, there is a few things I would like to know:

Can you use a different template on vbadvanced than the one you are using on your forum?

Can you install vbadvanced on a different domain than your forum’s domain?

I have two websites, they each have their own domain, and the forum has a different domain. Can I install vbadvanced on both my site’s domains but it uses the same forum?
In other words, can I have more than one vbadvanced integration on my forum?

The CMPS uses it's own templates for the most part. It also includes options so that you can force your CMPS pages to use a specific style.

The CMPS must be installed to the same server as your vBulletin files. It might be possible to use it on a different domain if your server is setup to allow for that, but your users would not be able to login on your CMPS pages since cookies are specific to the domain.

Thanks Brian, I was wondering when someone is going to reply...
Anyway.... There is a setting in vbulletin where you can type in another URL, so that the forums keeps the cookies when you visit that specific URL, will it help if I type the URL of my CMPS in there?

The thing that I really want to know is:

I have two websites, they each have their own domain, and the forum has a different domain. Can I install vbadvanced on both my site’s domains but it uses the same forum?
In other words, can I have more than one vbadvanced integration on my forum?

There's not a vB setting that will allow for cookies to work across domains. Looks like there's a hack on vb.org that would help though.

If you get the cookies working across both domains and can place a copy of the cmps_index.php file in the folder for each domain then that should work.
