Okay, I'm really reaching here now and brainstorming a bit. But for someone that has a vBulletin, vBa Dynamics and Photopost license installed for their forums, would it be possible to create a photo upload module to work within vbulletin and vBA Dynamics that links to Photopost? Ideally it would enable members to create a forum post or blog entry and by clicking on a button (maybe a "Upload Image" icon located beside the "Insert Image" icon in the toolbar) to then select and upload photos directly to Photopost and return the UBB and html codes necessary to show up within the post? Ideally these would just show up within the message window and the post or blog entry could be typed around the new photo link. This way members can upload photos to their galleries where they can be searched and seen and it would greatly simplify adding photos to forums thru vBulletin and blogs, articles, etc. via vBa Dynamics. This would basically be providing a link to the Photopost Pro photo gallery to upload photos instead of attaching them within posts and entries. Possible? Is this more a question for vBulletin?

I'm sure something like that would be possible, but probably not the easiest of tasks. The best thing I can recommend would be to start a thread in the Service Requests forum over at vbulletin.org to see if anyone would be willing to do it for a price.

Here is another idea along this line but not as involved (I don't think). Would it be possible to create a "Photo Link" button that shows up in vBulletin New Thread and New Post edit windows, vBa Dynamics New Thread/Post/Entries, etc. in the message window or beside the "Manage Attachments" button? The "Photo Link" button I'm thinking about would simply open a new browser window and automatically open the logged in users Photopost gallery. This would save a member from having to manually open a new Photopost browser window and navigate to their library to find the code for a photo or to upload a new one. Again the benefit of using a gallery program over the vBulletin attachments is that the photos can be searched and linked to instead of taking up disk or database space as attachments bound to one post. Any ideas?

I'm guessing this is the page you're trying to link to?

If so, you should be able to just add a link like this to one of the templates in the 'Editor Templates' group.

/photopost/member.php?uid=$bbuserinfo[userid]&protype=1

I think what would be great down the road is a connection to the user albums in 3.7x. Open pop up, shows albums, navigate to image, click it, inserts it into the thread as a thumbnail with link to full. Small upload slot under albums each step. Need to be automated like that to work in a step-above-the-rest manner. Otherwise you can just post a link to user albums (or anywhere else) to open in new window. Less automated that way, less desirable, probably wouldn't bother doing that on my end.

Sorry for hijacking this away from Photopost, I use it, but between their modding/support forums and lack of active PP coders all around, I doubt a full fledged answer would get done using PP.
