Ok
I created a page in html I want to use as an additional page.
Then I created a template called adv_portal_tradescripts, and included the html I created inside.
Then I created a module, called tradescripts with:
template to include: tradescripts
active
center
templates used: I tested with and without the template created above.
Then I created a page called trade scripts:
Page identifier: tradescripts
Page tempalte: tradescripts
Only selected the modules of the right bar and the module created above on the center..
Then I went to the costum module I created prior to this and linked the link to
http://domain.com/index.php?page=tradescripts
SO heres my prb
Not only the template tradescripts is showing on the main page all over the place, as wehn I click on the link p://domain.com/index.php?page=tradescripts
I go to the main page again
What am I doing wrong here?

If you want this to be a new page then there is no need to create a module for it. Remove the module, then edit your page and change the 'Page Template' option to 'adv_portal_tradescripts'. Make sure that your 'Custom Page Content' module is active and the template will be put in place of that module.

the template will be put in place of that module.
How can I do that?
Becouse after those changes you told me, when I click http://domain.com/index.php?page=tardescripts I still get the full index page.

Did you disable the other modules for that page, and make sure that the 'Custom Page Template' module was active?

ok so heres what I did again
I created a template called adv_portal_tradescripts
Inserted my html in it.
Created a page:
Name: Trade Scripts
Page Identifier: tradescripts
Page Template: adv_portal_tradescripts
Style: Imagize and tried also with the default style.
Selected 2 modules on the left
Selected Custom Page Content in middle
Unselected all modules on right column.
Linked to blabla.com/index.php?page=tradescripts
Nothing showing, I mean I get the full index page.
I only installed 3 hacks so I dont quite understand how can they mess this up.
I thought it was becouse of the skin, so I changed back to the default but no luck as well.

Nelto,
Nothing is showing up or the normal default index page is showing u? Is the Custom Page Content module flagged as being active in the properties of the module?

Are you absolutely postive on the page identifier value being correct? The behavior it's exhibiting is the same as what it does when typing in a wrong page value name (eg: www.yoursite.com/index.php?page=xyz and there is no "xyz" page so it'll show the default page instead).
Edit: Hopefully Brian can shed some light on what's going on but it looks like your sub-domain is pointing directly to your forums folder and that the normal index.php for your message home (eg: www.yoursite.com/forums/index.php) was copied over with the cmps_index.php file. I'm assuming this because when you go into the forums and then choose the top level of the directory tree it brings up the portal page instead of the forums home page. Sorry, but unfortunately I'm not the best person to help resolve this one. :o

yes probably thats it alright.
I want to change the portal to www.domain.com and the forum to the bbs.domain.com.
Is that even possible? or does vba need to be installed on the same domain?
Maybe if I do this change all gets fixed.
Bu tnow I remember couldnt that be becouse I renamed the original index.php form the vb to main.php and renamed the cmps_index.php to index.php?

There shouldn't be any reason that it's not working... If you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Member's Area here though I'll be glad to take a look and see what's wrong.

Ahhh, hadn't checked those yet. ;)
Branding free licenses are $39.99 and you will see the option to purchase those when you try to download the product through the 'Programs / Scripts' section of the site. ;)

Oh my god.
You know I had that seting seted to index.php, and then I toke it off while experimenting alot of stuff. Never imagined that could be the reason.
Brian
Thank You so much.

His 'Page Variable' option under his main settings was blank. ;)
