Pic of the day module

Okay, let's see if I can explain what I'm after. I know how to add a module, so you don't have to explain that.

I want to add a pic of the day module, where I can select a picture I want to show up in the center above the news. How would I go about putting a picture in there linked from my website, but not have it as an actual thread.

Does that make sense?

Okay, if you go to www.motoup.com (http://www.motoup.com) , I have up what I'm looking for. But in order to change the pic of the day, I have to ftp the picture, and edit the template with the date and who took the picture. I was wondering if there's a way to upload the pic from the forum, as well as make the text change.

There is a hack out there somewhere "Babe of the Day" or something like that that I believe will do exactly what you want. She's a real cutie BTW..
