$linksnav

How do i put the $linksnav right under my main navigation and not in between the right and left column? I would like it right under it as part as the navigation of the site.

You have probably figured this out by now :-p

I did this simply by copying the contents of the adv_links_navbar template and pasting it at the end of the (main site) navbar template. Then I removed all trace of the adv_links_navbar template so that it doesn't appear twice.

Actually, I've changed my mind now and put it back the way it was originally :p
