Ok, i have done some searching and not really found an answer and been playing and still can't solve it, so i am at your mercy.

I have returned to VB/VBA after alomost 10months out fo service.
I backed up my website and updated my vbulletin forums to the latest version, no problems all work might need to tweak some old mods but other than that all fine.

I download the new vba 3.0 and was upgrading from 2.2, i followed all the directions, ran the upgrade and all seemed fine, i goto my main site and my whole vba modules are not showing.
I can see the old modules in the admin options and such but for some reason can not get it to show on the website, if i goto edit pages my whole setup is there, permissions are set to show everything, i even tried to copy and make a new moduel and nothing is showing.

My index.php is pointing to the right place, as the instructions said don't overright the (cms_)index.php anyway.

Short if re-installing vba or the whole site i can not for the life of me see what is wrong.

Looks like there may just not be any modules active on that page. Try going to Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages => Default / Homepage and check the 'Active Modules' section there to see if those modules are active. If not, you should see them listed in the 'Inactive Modules' section above and be able to use the options there to enable them on that page.

it's all active apart form the 4 modules i dont want, it is set to display order 0 and the page is active, it is rather baffling as to why it does not show after a update

Hrmmm... If you go to Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Diagnostics, does that return any errors?

If you're not seeing the diagnostics link then that means that you have not uploaded all of the new files for v3.0. I'd recommend downloading the package from here again and uploading the files over your existing ones, and making sure that your FTP program does not report any errors during the process.

Ok fixed it, stupidly it was a simple thing..

for some reason my ftp client isnt asking about overwrite.. so i manualy deleted all files ont he server before uploading the new ones.. now it seems to be working :/
Checked my ftp options and cant find the option to force overwrite checks, oh well
