Hi
I have vba installed and the top log in box isn't working. I know why as my site is installed at /vbulletin and it doesn't find it there just the root so how do I change it.
Thanks

Which site is this that you're having the issue with? I've checked both of the ones listed with your licenses, but neither seem to be working at the moment.

I believe I am having the same problem as Mrdudecool. If it's different, feel free to split this into a separate thread so I don't hijack his.
I currently have a test forum running to get prepared for switching my site over to vbulletin with vbadvanced.
My main site is in the root folder for that domain
cmps_index.php (will later be renamed index.php once I switch the site over) *was* in the root folder as well
vbulletin was installed in a subfolder called 'testforum'
When I had it setup like the above, I could access the forums with no issues, however, I could NOT login through the top login box or the welcome block. It would act like it logged me, redirect me, and then I'd be back where I was (not logged in). Now the login while viewing the forums worked fine and when I logged in on vbadvanced, it DID log me into the forums...just doesn't show me logged in anywhere on vbadvanced. I'm assuming this is due to an incorrect cookie setting?
I moved cmps_index.php into my testforum folder and my login works fine now...however, while that's fine and dandy for testing purposes, when I roll everything out, I'm gonna need it working properly in the root folder.
URL is: http://www.herpfamily.com/testforum/cmps_index.php
My cookie settings are:
Session timeout: 900
Path to save cookies: /testforum/ (i have a phpbb2 forum running on the same domain)
cookie domain: .herpfamily.com
Also seem to be having an issue when using the top login (only on the vbadvanced pages I think) where when I login, it redirects to my current site. http://www.herpfamily.com/index.php instead of http://www.herpfamily.com/cmps_index.php...or is that just because it's expected of me to rename cmps_index to index?

Your 'Path to save cookies' setting needs to be set to '/' if you're not running the CMPS in the same folder as vBulletin.

I apologise for the downtime we had with disneymagiconline.com
If you check it out now, it is working.

Have you made sure that 'login.php' is listed in your Navbar Replacements setting? As long as it's listed there then you shouldn't have any problems with the login form. Even if login.php is listed there, go ahead and save your settings to be sure that the cache has been updated.
