I get these two errors at the top of the site now.

Warning: unserialize() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /includes/vba_cmps_include_bottom.php on line 240

You could try applying some of the fixes from the bugs forum (like this one (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18834&highlight=unserialize)). v2.1 is nearly 2 years old now though and not supported with PHP5.

As long as you're running v3.6+ of vBulletin, then yes, I would definitely recommend upgrading.
