Emailing Link Owners

Is there a way to send an email to all of the people that submitted a link in a certain category? I use this alot now to promote advertising and other features of my site.

Currently, no. This probably wouldn't be hard to add in the future though.

I also send out periodic emails telling the users what thier link stats are--rating, number of votes, and views.

In the program I was using I could write the email using variables:
Your site recieved [$votes] votes and has a rating of [$ratings].
