how to remove main page link from the menu?

hi, how do i remove the main page link from the menu? it's not really necessary for me, and the link to it is index.php?pageid=home , that's not good for SEO.

so i need to either remove it completely, or make the link index.php, or write an htaccess 301 redirect from index.php?pageid=home to index.php

can anyone help me with any of the above?

Just edit the settings for the Site Navigation module and you will see the one for 'Pages to Exclude'.
