If the vbadvanced board uses the skin elements of vbulletin, then yes. It might help to post a link to the site.

No worries! We took a chance and installed a new skin, it seems to work like a dream. Yet we do have some database errors, the profile links are wrong etc. But that might have something to do with the database upgrade (or version) as you call it. In the acp it says 3.6.8, yet in the forums footer it still says 3.6.4 .. lol

What I've found with my experience with vB CMPS is that vB CMPS doesnt follow the paths correctly to find files (Though this may just be a problem with my install, ive reinstalled and had the problem but just fixed it myself).

Basically, what I'm saying is that say your forums path is
/home/yourname/public_html/forums
and your vB CMPS is in
/home/yourname/public_html/
and your images for your skin are in
/home/yourname/public_html/forums/images/styles/skin
Then vB CMPS (in my experience) looked for these images in
/home/yourname/public_html/images/styles/skin

Because my host offers me unlimited storage space, I can easy just copy over files and, if you have enough space, it could be a good option to do so.

So all the images in
/home/yourname/public_html/forums/images/styles/skin
get copied over to
/home/yourname/public_html/images/styles/skin

That worked with my board.
Good luck with your website, I hope thats what you mean.
