Thread/news titles not showing up

I tried searching for this and found another thread about it, but it didn't help me, so I figured I'd create my own thread.

So ... The thread titles aren't showing up when I'm using the News module. I'm only getting this "»", but no thread titles next to it. I've tried looking at the settings, but there doesn't seem to be anything about it, so does anyone know how I can fix it?

Sounds like you've either imported the threads from another forum software, or edited the first posts in the thread to remove the title. If you edit the first post of the threads though and make sure that the 'Title' field is filled out, then it should display.
