You should be fine unless you've made any modifications to the default modules. Just FTP all of the new files then run the vbacmps_install.php install script and select the Upgrade option; everything should still be working as it is now but with the upgraded code.

I have a problem with the pagination of the news module. If I active this option, I have an 'error on the page' in the status bar of my browser. The pagination bar appears but if the number of pages work as well, the arrow to the right don't show the popup 'Go to the page'.

When I deactive this option, the error on the page disappears.

Did you get this fixed?

no I have windows xp. I was trying to upload the zip folder (still getting the same problem). I have no software to open the tar stuff though .. are there any other alternatives? Carmen

NO when you upload all the files to your FTP, your just right click on the Modules folder in the FTP(not on your computer) and select properties/CHMOD
and then in the little permissions box with somenumbers you change them to 777 and save thats it.

Well, apparently the news module displays nothing if I do either of the following:

1. Enable pagination; or
2. Set to show all items in the forum.

I'm guessing by everyone else's experience in this thread that they are all having the same experience?

Visitor messages awaiting approval added to the Quick Moderation module for vB 3.7 users.
It shows I need to moderate 2 messages, but when clicking the link, I get a blank screen.

Instead of:
/forum/moderation.php?do=viewvms&type=moderated
or:
/forum/member.php?u=[memberid]&tab=messaging

it points to:
/forum/moderation.php?do=viewmessages&type=moderated

One of the things I noticed after upgrading to 3.0 Gold, the "Forum Statistics" are not showing properly on home page. I'm unable to figure out why is that happening!

I still feel that 3.0 gold is not ready yet for production/live sites. We're afraid that many of us will have to revert back to RC2 version unless 3.01 Gold shows up in the next few days with all fixes :(

I have not yet gotten to installing this CMS hack - I did however downloaded it and for my vB 3.6.8. Jus curious - will it... work with a skin you can sometimes purchase from http://www.vbmode.com/demo/?styleid=10
for instance?

I am looking for someone who can create a skin that more resembles our euh hum ."corporate identity".. although we (my partner and I our business is just starting to take off).

Any help/suggestions / paid or free welcome

Quck Question:

When I installed CMPS everything went well except the navbar on the CMPS page looked a but funny. It wasn't the way it should be on the forum. (to view the problem click here (http://www.animeshadows.com/mainsite.php) to view the original nav bar press home option in navbar on CMPS page. Sorry if it's not ok to post links.)
