Hi everyone:

Before I get to my question and cry for help, I would like to compliment the folks here at vBadvanced for their outstanding product with CMPS. Absolutely fantastic and I could not be more happy with it. I can't believe you guys give this away, but I am glad you do. Truely awesome.

Ok, now for the problem. I installed CMPS a week ago and launched it last night. My site is located at http://www.budoseek.net. I had CMPS integrated into my forumhome, forum display, and showthread. I will post links below to my test pages. Everything looks A-OK with everyone except one of my members who is running a Mac. When he views the site, the tables are all out of whack, and he cannot really view the page. See the attachment below. Haven't seen what things look like in a more current version of Mac, but his version is OS8.6. Granted he is probably the only user I have that uses this older Mac (and probably one of the few Mac users period), but I would like to figure out how to integrate CMPS into my forums, and still keep everyone happy. Your assistance would be very much appreciated. Thanks!!

Here are my test pages:

The attached image is a screenshot from my troubled Mac user.

Opps, sorry folks for the big image, but shouldn't this image be presented as a thumbnail?

... this is not a single way related to a MAC user... i'm on a Mac and i tested your template with all the possible browsers... no bug. even Safari that is supposed to bug on strange templates is not...

so i suppose it's related to some kind of misbehavior...

nexia, thank you so much for your help. I had a feeling it was not "just" a Mac problem. Since you are a Mac user, perhaps you have some advice I can pass along to my member with regard to updates, other browsers, etc? Also, which version of the Mac OS are you running?

Thanks again!

Have you modified your 'SHOWTHREAD' or 'postbit' templates? If so, try reverting those and see if the user still has a problem. If not or if that doesn't help tell that user to get a better computer. :p

Seems to be a vBulletin showthread issue, and it should work ok on Mac OS 9.X.

Try upgrading to Mozilla 1.2.1

Thanks for the further input. BTW, are you guys (Brian & Zachery) using a Mac?

With regard to the files that I have modified, just the ones in the links above. I prefixed all of the test pages with cmps_ just to keep'em straight. I will give reverting the SHOWTHREAD and postbit templates a try, but I suspect the problem will be fixed by him upgrading his OS. I looked at the test pages today from a Mac with OS X, and it looks fine. Considering that the test pages look fine for everyone else...

Zachery, I will suggest the upgrade to Mozilla to him. He will probably like that browser better anyway!

The only mac ive had avaible as of late was a Old world mac (OS 8.6 iirc)

If i had access to a newer mac i would go and check but at this time i know of no issues with IE 5.2 (i think its the last version) for the mac and vBulletin.
