As a relative novice to websites, I want to upgrade my VB to the latest version. I have upgrade before, so should have no problem with the vB side of things.

What I am unsure about is vBadvance side of things, what will I need to do? and will this be easy for a novice?

I have tried a couple of times to contact the owners of this site, regarding paying to have them re install the software for me, but they do not seem interested in replying.

Any help you cpuld give would be appreciated.

You will need to re-edit the files, and run the re-install templates in the vBa installer, and thats it :)

I don't see any support tickets on the issue, how did you try to contact us?

Thanks for the reply, I sent a message via email (i think) and via the contact us button at the bottom of the site, wrong way I suppose.

Do I just need to copy/paste the file modifications as shown in the "readme" file, or will I need to do all the other bits on the readme file, such as renameing sections etc?

Thanks

Stu

Just another question, Can I apply the file modifications before I upload the vBulletin files to do the upgrade, or is it easier/safer to do the vB upgrade first, then the vbadvance modification?

Yes, you can apply the file changes before or after you upgrade vBulletin.

Thanks for your help, I have just upgraded to vB3-0-3, redone the vBadvance changes and all seem OK!

Even for a novice like me all went OK and very easy.
