Hi Guys,
been playing about with vbadvanced CMPS today and Im loving it.
I have created a frontend that I want all my users to be directed to, but for some reason when I go to: www.mydomain.com it doesnt appear (all I get is the standard forum WITHOUT the modules), BUT when I go to www.mydoman.com/index.php is does??
Does anyone know how I can force it to default to /index.php ?
thanks!
MOG

I believe you could just to a html or 301 redirect? If your wanting to just direct others from viewing one page & just send them to another.

I think you could use an entry in .htaccess if ur using Linux. In windows IIS ya just set default home pages, so I'm not 100% sure.

There's no need for redirects, .htaccess files, or anything else if you follow the instructions from the link I posted above.

Hi Guys,
been playing about with vbadvanced CMPS today and Im loving it.
I have created a frontend that I want all my users to be directed to, but for some reason...
I just uploaded/installed all the software...again. I would really love to get where you say you are in this post...can anyone help with this? Does vbadvanced support charge to do stuff like this...
my site: http://tamparyderz.net
what I want it to look like: www.rickypalooza.net (my buddy's forum)

cmps_index.php is still in my root dir, didn't change the name, and if you click to it, you get some weird error...this is bad, isn't it?
Warning: main(./includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/t/r/b/trboss/html/cmps_index.php on line 43
Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/t/r/b/trboss/html/cmps_index.php on line 43
I Dont think you made your "forum:" directory right in the index file...

I don't know what I did/didn't do, but I'm satisfied with what I've got now.
