Hi everybody

I'm trying to install vBadvanced CMPS 3.0.0 (vB 3.6 - vB 3.7) - Released 02-04-2008

When I execute : http://****.com/Foros/admincp/vbacmps_install.php

I receive this:
It appears that you are trying to install the vBulletin 3.6 version of vBadvanced CMPS on an older version of vBulletin.
Please go back to vbadvanced.com and download the version of vBadvanced CMPS that corresponds to your version of vBulletin, or upgrade to vBulletin 3.6 before proceeding.

กก But my vBulletin version is 3.6.8 Patch Level 2 !!

Besides, I renamed index.php to foros.php and cmps_index.php to index.php. as it is said here:
http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25

but then...
Warning: require_once(./includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/***/public_html/index.php on line 43

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required './includes/vba_cmps_include_template.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/***/public_html/index.php on line 43

Both archives are uploaded: vba_cmps_include_template.php and index.php

Why can't I do the installation?
Why do I get this error with index.php if I put correctly this: $forumpath = '/home/***/public_html'; ?

Any help will be appreciated (if in spanish, so much better :( )

Sadly, I see so many questions and so little answers in this forum. :(

Is this happening with the site associated with your CMPS license? If so, then it looks like you have 2 versions of vBulletin there. The first is in your root directory and running 3.6.8, the second is in your 'Foros' folder and running 3.5. If you're trying to install the CMPS on your 3.6.8 version then you need to upload the files for the CMPS to your root directory. If you're trying to install the CMPS on your forum in your /Foros folder, then you need to go back and download the last version of the CMPS that was released for vB 3.5 (2.0.0 I believe).

Oh my god, I'm completely ashamed. :o. You're right. :o

My forum was in /Foros but when I updated it I put it in the root. :o

Everything seems to be ok, but now my forum doesn't work as it should.

I am really grateful to you :o I'll investigate and if not, I will return :o

Thanks a lot :D

I give up. :(

I can't make my forum work properly. I decided to uninstall because my english is not good enough to continue. I don't know how to explain myself :(

But now I have other problem:

I did http://***/admincp/vbacmps_install.php and I selected "uninstall", then I deleted the files from my ftp.

And all the icons in "Latest Threads on Forum Home" of my vBulletin, have disappear. They show a strange url (duplicated)

Maybe I'm too tired, but I can't find any solution.

Need help again, please :(

From what I can tell, it looks like the part of the install file that updates your images was not able to determine the correct URL due to an invalid 'Forum URL' setting in your main vBulletin options, but you checked the boxes to update those images anyways. The only way to fix that is going to be to edit each of your icons and smilies to remove the full URL from the paths.

But...

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/7199/icon202hh9.th.jpg (http://img222.imageshack.us/my.php?image=icon202hh9.jpg)

Everything seemed to be ok when I did the installation but when I clicked on "Forum" link, the url was http://***.com/foro.php/index.php and I was not logged in Forums and I couldn't login.

The post of the foro were shown on index.php (Recent Threads), but when I clicked on it, the text of the post didn't appear.
Besides, when I was in http://***/foro.php/index.php I didn't know how to return to index.php.

I have looked for responses for several forums and I have seen that other persons have this problem, but I do not understand the responses.

Now I don't know what to do, because I really would like to have a portal :(

And of course, I would like to have my icons back :(

Thanks Brian :o
