A couple of people have been asking recently about improving the integration with comments from the blog system.

I have just released a mod that displays the last 5 comments on a vba cmps page. Its over at vborg as I can keep track of support and installs better there.

nice, could you make a similar one for Blog Entries? would go well together with this mod!

I'm trying to print the latest blogs on vBadvanced homepage. You used RSS? Could you please share the source code? I prefer not to use a service like feedburner.. thanks.

I posted in your vborg thread and asked for help. I cant get this to work on my board. I get a message saying:

Table 'dbXXXXXXX.blog_text' doesn't exist

This message shows above the title of the block.

How can I fix this error?

Just to let everyone know that I have now improved and re-written the code for the blog module. A working version remains at www.midlandsweather.org.uk but you can find the code at http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=206103

Improvements include, smilies and bbcode, blog titles and word limits on comment display
