did you edit the page with something like dreamweaver or frontpage? Try installing a freash version on the page looks like it is missing some tags so it is all showing up..

check the top of your index page.. top line should be the doctype line.. is not take that stuffs out(save it just in caseit was suppose to go somewhere else ;))
