Utilize Featured module

Judging from your reaction to a couple of my earlier question, I understand this mod so poorly that I can't even ask an intelligent question. But I'll get there. :)

When I activate Featured module on the index page no articles show up in it. In fact nothing shows up on index to even indicate the module is active. What am I missing?

In CMPS there are options to enable you to select which threads you want to display in modules of this type.

If you click the "Entry Tools" link at the top of any entry, you should see a "Feature Entry" option there. Use that to mark the entry as featured and you should then see the entry in the module.

I don't see "entry tools" in the new entry page.

You need to view an entry that's already been submitted, then you should see the "Entry Tools" menu.

Maybe you meant "Article Options"? Got it, thanks.

Yes, it would be "Article Options" if you've changed your 'Term For "Entry"' setting to "Articles".
