I installed vBadvanced CMPS last night changing my original forum home [index.php] name to forum.php Everything works fine for me except one thing. It is now impossible to hop back to main forums list from a thread or subforum as the link redirects you to the new index.php page, it is more annoying than anything else as when trying to hop between posts and the forum list its a pain having to visit the new page then click the forums link again. I had a look at the phrases but wasnt sure what i was looking for so havent touched anything. Could anyone help me out with this?

The bit in red is what i am trying to change, so it no longer directs you to index.php, but to forum.php

you need to set it up so index.php for CMPS is in the /public_html folder than you need to put index.php for your forums (i think u said you named it forum.php) into the /forums folder. That should do the trick i think

you might also want to check the index.php file from CMPS and make sure the $forumpath line is correct. You might have to change it a little to direct to your new template

Make sure you've updated your 'Script Name for Forum Home Page' setting as described there.
