Is there already a simpe way of adding single pages to VBadvanced?

Without having to put html-code into a template and so on.

How much more simple do you want it? You just add the code to a new template and then add the name of that template when adding the page.

Sounds like he wants it similar to starting a new thread really.

that would be a simple way.

What i understand with "Content Management" is adding new pages by click and w/o HTML-Knowledge. That's why i asked. The way CMPS does it is okay, but with this way my co-admin can't create pages, just because he doesn't know any html.

Thanks anyway.

Kommuni,

I know what you are saying as you have to allow your content creators access to the styles panel.

What I have done is basically used the news processor functionailty. Creating pages that feed from various forums, these forums are hidden to all but the content group, the content people then add the new posts aka content. Not perfect but it keeps the costs/learning in trim from having to utilise a full CMS system. The other tool I am using is the articles hack on vborg, again setting a new group for content managers to edit/manage, although this can be achieved with this vbadvanced tool and to some extent vb templates directly.

I have been looking at typo3, it's huge and easily to big for alot of sites. There is a solution out there, jsut need to find one that can be "integrated".

It's still content management, just not exactly the same. The script allows you to easily have different news forums, modules, and etc. You do still have to know HTML if you're going to be creating things besides those though.
