Hello folks! I have this problem where I need immediate help. The board I'm working on belongs to a friend and if I screw it up again he's really gonna kick my ass so....
I installed vbadvanced_cmps_3_0_0_(vb_3_6_-_vb_3_7)_81311 onto a version 3.6.9 board and all went very well except the Site Navigation "forum" just loops back to the main page? The directions said to remove all index.php and related files so with that done, where would the link point to?
Wright now the path is http://rippersplace.com/forum/index.php which is this mods home page, not the forums page?
How do I fix this? I did try renaming the forums index.php file but I can't find the file where I could change the href tag from index.php to index2.php? Could this work if someone could tell me where to find the line in which file or is there another way to get the site navigation to go to the main forums page?
Please let me know!
Thanks!

Got this one figures out by changing the path to my oridinal index.php renamed index1.php and it works fine.
I do have another question:
After someone posts in a thread, when you click the site name it returns you to the main page, not the forums main page? How do I change the link?
Another small issue is that I don't really see a need for the upc to be in the center of the home page. How do I remove it?
Please let me know!
And thank you for a great, great mod.....

If you're running the CMPS in the same folder as vBulletin then you need to follow the instructions here (http://www.vbadvanced.com/membersarea.php?do=viewusermanual&productid=4&pageid=7) for that.

Thanks for the reply Brian. Got that done so now I'm having another issue. I want the Homepage to inherit the default style I want but it seems to be stuck to the template style that was default when I installed this. So if I change the default from black smart to internet cafe, internet cafe appears on the forums but the cmps Homepage remains fblue which was the default style used during installation. I read something about Parenting but can't seem to find just where I can go to make the styles match for both the forums and Homepage.
Please let me know.

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages => Default / Homepage => Custom Style For This Page
Make sure you have that option set to 'Use Default Style'.

Thanks again Brian. If I have posted this before please bare with me. I've been in some what of a panic mode trying to get this site above and beyond the old site prior to a former administrator crashing it by hacking into the acp, deleting all the user accounts from the data base and then running off with critical files that crippled the website completely That had over 200 members. I have my own phpbb2 version .23 site (http://cscoroner.com/phpbb2/index.php) that I moded from scratch and my good friend likes the basic lay out but choose vBulletin for it's functionality and security. I'm trying my best to be patient and get most functions of CMPS in working order but I sometimes miss the more obvious adjustments and moding.
So I hope you understand what we've been going through and have patients with me while I get as much done with as little time as I have until we are stable and running smooth.
Thanks once again for you efforts and support,
---Jim

Hello folks. I have another issue that I'm sure is an easy fix. Since I redirected the forums into index1.php because CMPS is now the main index.php link. Where do I go to change the link name link paths in the top header from http://rippersplace.com/forum.index.php to http://rippersplace.com/forum.index1.php.
Every time we post and want to return to the forums main page the link at the top sends us to that homepage not the forums main index.
Please let me know and thanks again for all your efforts and support.

vBulletin Options => Forums Home Page Options => Script Name for Forum Home Page
Just change that to 'index1'.
