Good evening all....
Having just had a new "skin" sorted for my forum, I thought I would check all the functions within both vB, and vBadvanced.
Now I am not sure if this problem was there with my old skin, as I never use it:D But, if I click on the "log out xxxx" at the bottom of the screen, from within my vBadvanced home page, I get a "404" error message saying the page does not exist:confused: , but if I do the same from within the forum, it works OK, and takes me to the page that tells you that the cookies have been cleared.
Also, if I click on the buttons on my navigation bar when I am not logged in, I also get a 404 message along the same lines? again only from vBadvance page, within the forum, it just asks you to log in.
Any ideas, before I submit a support ticket:D
Regards
Stuart

Either your 'Forum URL' option is set wrong in your main vBulletin options, or those links are somewhere other than your navbar template (most likely the header). If the links are not in your navbar template then you will need to edit those links and add $vboptions[bburl]/ in front of each link.

Hi Brian
Thanks for the reply, I added the bit you suggested in front of the links, and they all seem to work OK now, I cannot get the log out bit to work though?
I think I am correct in saying this is the code I should be looking at?
<!-- member logout -->
| <a href="login.php?$session[sessionurl]do=logout&u=$bbuserinfo[userid]" onclick="return log_out()"><phrase 1="$bbuserinfo[username]">$vbphrase[log_out_x]</phrase></a>
<!-- end member logout -->
Were do I make the addition to make it work?

login.php - Add $vboptions[bburl]/ right in front of that.

Looks like the code is in your footer template... Did you try changing it there?

Brian
I have found another area were I get the "404" message, If I try to do a search from the search box listed at the top of my vBadvance home page. This again works OK in the forum.
I expect I need to add the same bit of code as per before? this is my "header code"

Just search for 'search.php' in the template and add $vboptions[bburl]/ in front of each place you find it.
