What's New module in CMPS

Apparently we lost one function...the ability to filter out categories in this module. The same module on the Dynamics side has the category filter feature. Do you know what happened to it. It is very important to me.

Also, is it possible to have REPLY's enabled on some categories but not others in Showentry? If not, I will have to go to the use of instances. Would that work for what I am describing?

Sorry, I was actually just about to get to your support ticket.

There's a setting called 'Categories to Exclude' that will allow you to exclude a list of categories by entering the catid for each. The only difference is that you need to enter the categoryid's since the CMPS can't print out the category select box like vBa Dynamics can.

If you edit the category that you want to disable replies in, you should see an option caleld 'Open for New Posts'. Disable that and it should disable the ability to reply to entries in that category.

It was a pretty good game Saturday and the Braves won 4-1. :)
