News Threads do not work?

I've tried using News Threads rather than a news forum a couple of times, but I could never get them to show on the CMPS. Mystery to me, and I gave up.

What's intrigued me is that when I upgraded to the latest version today, all of a sudden a thread which I had specified some time ago was showing up - which was fantastic!

Only problem is when I went into the settings and changed the thread, and added another, they no longer show up again. Back to square 1!

I'm sure I have everything configured correctly - is anyone using this successfully?

Brian, are you aware of any issues with this? I can let you in to take a look if necessary.

The only thing that really should be able to prevent threads from being displayed like that is if they are older than the 'Cut-Off Date' option you have set for the news module. I'd recommend double-checking that, and if that's not it, please submit a support ticket and I'll take a look at things for you.

I'll do so now. I think I've realised what it may be related to.

From the vBa ACP:
News Forum ID
The ID number of your default news forum. To display threads from more than one forum, enter a list of forumids seperated by commas. Example setting: 1,4,9

I don't have a text box, I have a multi selection list of forums. Sounds fishy. Opening ticket... :)

same problem...also when i choose threads for news module manually,it works,but otherwise (select forum from multi selection box) no..

Please help..

i upgraded 3.0.1 version but still have the problem.
