Upgraded to 3.7 now problem with Portal Page

Nevermind - found the solution

I cant get custom modules to update using 3.7. Anyone else having this issue?

I even went into the database to do it manually and nothing changed on the portal.

What exactly happens when you try to edit a module through the Admin CP?

Modules are stored in a cache in the 'datastore' table, so just modifying the entry in the 'adv_modules' table isn't going to change anything. Note that unless you're familiar with editing serialized data then you should not touch the values in the datastore table.

I edit and click save and nothing changes.

This is when I'm not using a wrapper. I tried to edit it again using the wrapper and it worked. Then I removed the wrapper again and it had saved.

I didn't know about the datastore. I'll have to look into that. But something is definately messed up, I just haven't figured out what it is.

Just changing the module wrapper setting would not have any effect on the other settings.

I agree. But somehow it did.

Thanks for your help, but while updating other templates that got changed by 3.7 all my know problems with cmps were fixed.

I have no idea how or what.
