Getting this. Any ideas?

We're sorry, but since you are adding a new page and this page has not yet been created, the threads cannot be saved properly. Please go back and save the page you were creating first. You will then you will be able to pick specific threads once you go back to edit the page.

ok i found a workaround.. if you go to EDIT PAGES then EDIT your HOMEPAGE you can go down to the news section and EDIT THREADS from there and it works.

going right to edit the news module gives me the error.

You're receiving that error when trying to edit threads for a module while adding a new page, right? If so, then you need to do exactly as the message says and save the page before trying to edit the threads.

hey Brian, thanks for your response and all your work on vBadvanced.

To clarify, I am not doing anything (such as creating pages, etc.) except going to add a thread to the news module.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. Looks like I inadvertently created a new bug while correcting a different one. I've just applied the fix to the download package here though, so if you will download the files again and upload the forum/admincp/vba_cmps_admin.php file over your existing one, that should take care of the issue.

I had this problem, drove me nuts for 1/2 a day! Now it's all good.. Fixed with re-uploading of the file from a freshly-downloaded archive.. :D
