Server Queries

Just a quick question, but how many server queries does the front page of CMPS cause? (rough average) I've seen VBPortal sites have around 118, which is a little excessive to say the least.

It depends on the number of moudles you have enabled, but should always be less than 20 for normal users.

Unless you install a bunch of very badly coded moduals i would never think vBa would get that high.

there's a very easy to install hack over at vbulletin.org, http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=59700, it shows the number of queries, uncached templates and server loads...

Thanks guys. 4-5x times less than VBP, all I needed to know. Makes a huge difference when you have members on line in the hundreds.

mine uses 27

If you have the quick moderation module on then that will add 4 queries, but only for admins. The others are from additional modules/hacks you have installed.
