I'd like to split the center column into 2 or more - giving more columns in which to place my content.
Is there a mod/add on that will allow 4 column views? Alternately, is there a mod or addon that will allow a module displayed in the center area to be split into two column.. to give this sort of look
XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX
XXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXX
XXXX XXXXXXX XXXXXX XXXX
XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX
Allowing for full banner ads in the center; yet newspaper style columns under the banner?
Thanks
Rich

Ok. I've done this - set the parameter as the instruction says. How do I modify the width of the center column to divide it? I see where I can set Left Column Width and Right Column Width - but not center (which I assume is the balance of the width).. But, when I create the 'left center' and 'right center' column, the module is plugged into default spacer between the center and either outside column.
Thanks

Ok.. I've 'played around' with the adv_portal template by just copying the columnwidth code and space code from the left column to my 'left center' column and 'right center' column. Now the width's are tied together. NOT the best solution, but at least I can 'work around' that.
The thing now is I can't insert a center column. If I use a 'center' column, then it shifts the two new columns.. I now have this:
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX
I'd Like to get this:
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX
XXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXXX
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXX
any advice would be appreciated. I have a development site to play around without fear of messing up my live site - Once I figure this out, I'll update my live site.
Thanks
Rich
