Hey everyone, I'm new to vBadvanced but not to vBulletin...
I just want to know how to use vba_index.php as my forum index. If i name it index.php and rename my VB index to home.php, vBadvanced works but not my forum...
or is there a way i can make my vba_index my first page people land on my URL with .htaccess?
Any help appreciated

Yeah, put your forum in a separate folder. So instead of your forum being in the main public HTML dir (www.yoursite.com/) it should look like (www.yoursite.com/forum/). Then you just take your cmps_index.php and remove the "cmps_" from the file name and put it in the main public HTML dir.
Before this works correctly though you have to go into Admin CP and expand the vBadvanced CMPS header in the left column. Open up the "Main Options" page. The very first thing is the "CMPS URL." You'll need to change that from the default (cmps_index.php) to simply "/index.php" to have it display and work correctly.
That's how I have my website setup (http://47th.info). Just a heads up but the F bombs appears once or twice in celebratory fashion on that front page. Just follow any "ComNet" link to the forum index. And I have not refined going from the forum index back to the main index. I'm redoing the top navbar atm.
