Any ideas?

It's been doing it for a while, sometimes allowing links to be submitted, but increasingly getting the error and very few links being submitted. I'm running vb3.7.1, Links v3.0 beta 2, VBSEO 3.2rc7 on a Apache 1.3.41, Mysql 5.0.45 and PHP 5.2.5

Recently there was a change on some files, including the addlink.php, maybe you try to download the package again and upload this file.

Sorry, not sure how I missed this when you first posted. Is it only when adding links that you receive this error, or have you received it from any other vB pages? About how long does it take after hitting the submit button until you receive the error?

Hi Brian,

Only seems to be when submitting a new links, the error pops up after about 90 seconds

after a bit of tinkering it seems to have stopped doing it after I changed - Submit/Edit Link Options > Auto-Fill Submit Form With Meta Data - to 'No'

Is it only doing that with certain links, or does it seem to happen with all of them? If it's only happening with a certain links then it's likely a problem due to the web site you're linking to timing out. If it's happening with all links then it may be something on your server that's not allowing our functions to connect. If that's the case then I'll be glad to take a look at things for you if you would like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here.
